This pretty Werksiedlung St. Christoph Photo and Postcard Holder (cards not included) with a Beeswax Tealight Candle in a Glass Tealight Jar is made of German Alderwood in a warm, natural tone. This beautiful holder has a slot for a photograph or postcard and a place for a small Tealight candle for remembrance, reverence or just to set the mood.
This postcard holder measures about 7.1 x 4.5 inches (18 x 11.5 cm).

CARE
When first made, the alder wood is rubbed with a blend of linseed oil, safflower oil, beeswax and carnauba wax to condition and protect the wood. It’s then wrapped in unbleached paper and sent to us from Europe. We recommend re-oiling your candle holder anytime the wood begins to appear dry or before it goes into long term storage. This can be done with a natural plant oil, such as olive oil, safflower or coconut oil, or if you don’t mind setting it aside to cure and dry for a few days instead, something like natural tung oil works great too.
