This particular olive wood is from a wild olive tree inside a sustainably managed forest in Kenya. The artisans carve these trays from solid pieces of olive wood, which is such a nice, dense hardwood that it’s nicknamed iron wood. It’s a great choice for trays like this as they hold up well.Â
Care instructions: Hand wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry. Rub wood lightly with mineral or olive oil before storing.
