SECONDS
Small cosmetic flaws.
“Seconds” have small cosmetic flaws along the surface, usually a thin, shallow line that formed as it dried and pulled slightly apart or “bubbles” that popped and left a divet. The lines are thin and shallow and a natural result of the drying process.
The chalk itself is just as great as the chalk that dried without this forming. In fact, it was only upon close up examination that we noticed this on a few.
Save a few dollars and get chalk that’s just as great!!

- TWEE products are made in small batches by hand! This means they are NOT machine made, but because of this, expect small irregularities; consider them special as no two will be identical
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SIDEWALK AND CHALKBOARD CHALKS
- TWEE chalk is a denser chalk than blackboard chalk because it was created to be used on surfaces like sidewalks, asphalt, concrete—hard and textured surfaces. TWEE expects children to press down on these and so they are thicker, harder chalks.
- Chalkboard chalks are less dense and are easier to break or crumble because they are meant for less pressure on a smoother surface.
- We sell two types of blackboard chalk: Dustless chalk, made more for children to use, and then our Blackboard chalk, which are vibrant colors from high pigment made more for blackboard artwork, colorful blackboard titles and “painting” with chalk. The softer chalks make it easier to “paint” with on your chalkboards and will not do well on hard textures, like sidewalks.
