GORGEOUS MULTI-USE PURE WOOL YARN
Scheepjes Soedan chunky yarn is 50 grams of thick and heavy, soft, worsted weight yarn made from 100% pure Virgin Wool. We’ve found it a great yarn weight to use for Waldorf doll hair and is often used in Waldorf schools and Waldorf inspired homeschools as the yarn for finger knitting, knitting forks (lucets), and beginning knitting projects. We love it for all of those. It also felts beautifully.
This 4-ply yarn is also ideal for knitting rugs, tapestries or cushions, as well as for knitting or crocheting warm, cozy scarves, mittens or hats. We love this yarn for our round loom, square loom and rectangular weaving looms and other handcrafts, like macramé.
This yarn is not suitable for machine washing or drying (unless you’re trying to felt it).
NEEDLE SIZES
It works well with needle sizes US 7-10 (4.5-6 European). Soedan chunky yarn is available in many beautiful colors.
