These sweet terry cloth Nanchen babydoll is a special handmade doll in the Waldorf fashion by the Nanchen doll makers in Germany.
This pretty terry doll is made from certified 100% organic terry cloth cotton and stuffed with organic Bioland wool. The terry cloth is in the prettiest shades from soft pastels to earthy sage to bright corals and reds.
The hand-painted face is the sweetest, yet most minimal expression that will bring smiles to your baby or toddler’s face when they see their first baby doll.
At 6.7 inches, this soft doll is easy for infants and toddlers to hang onto and is 100% safe for babies to put in their mouth (because babies love to do that, especially when teething).
This smaller size also makes this sweet Waldorf doll easy to stash in a diaper bag, tuck into a stroller or car seat or cuddle with at night before bedtime. At Christmas, it makes a joyful stocking stuffer for your little one.

Nanchen nature uses almost exclusively raw materials from controlled organic farming (kbA) (organic cotton) and controlled organic animal husbandry (kbT) (organic wool). Their dolls are stuffed by hand with Bioland sheep’s wool from Germany.

WHY WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP THIS DOLL TO PENNSYLVANIA, MASSACHUSETTS OR OHIO?
Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Ohio have enacted their own stuffed toy legislation which requires the manufacturer of stuffed toys to register in each of the three states. This annual registration includes registration fees in each state, as well. Ohio also charges additional fees in combination with the registration fees. Furthermore, Ohio requires a quarterly tax paid on each stuffed toy shipped into their state.
Nanchen Natur is not registered under the stuffed toy program required by these three states. Therefore, we are sadly unable to ship Nanchen Natur dolls to Ohio, Massachusetts or Pennsylvania at this time.
