King Red and the White Snow, Six Tales About the Wonderful World of Color | Grades K – 3rd
WONDERFUL WORLD OF COLOR TALES
King Red is a red king; everything is red: his cape, his crown, even his little finger. One winter’s day, it snows. The snow is the whitest King Red has ever seen and he just has to go walking in the snow!
So begins the first of six tales centered on the wonderful world of color, a world children experience vividly and full of life. Inside you’ll find “The Rosy Princess and the Yellow Elf,” “The Orange Gnome from Spain,” “The Melancholic Boo-Hoo Blue” and more.
NOTE: This is such a great little collection of tales using color, but is recommended as a book of stories for Kindergarten kids and older to enjoy, not as a book for toddlers to learn about colors. It’s a nice read aloud for Kindergartners and up and a good independent reading book for 2nd to 3rd graders.
