Choroi Copper Pentatonic Glockenspiel – 7 tones
This gorgeous Choroi pentatonic glockenspiel has removable, pure copper tone bars that form a slightly curved playing surface. The copper creates a warm, bell-like tone with a relatively short sustain. Thus the metallophonic interference, or the tonal friction between two intervals, is low.
There are 7 tones (range: d”-e”-g”-a”-b”-d”‘-e”’) tuned to A=440 Hz or A=432 Hz.
The base is made of solid wood and measures 9.8 x 7.5 x 7.5 inches (25x19x19 cm). A mallet is included.
