Choroi Copper Diatonic Glockenspiel – 10 tones
This gorgeous Choroi pentatonic glockenspiel has removable, pure copper tone bars that form a slightly curved playing surface. The copper creates a warm, bell-like tone with a relatively short sustain. Thus the metallophonic interference, or the tonal friction between two intervals, is low.
There are 10 tones (range: c” -d”-e”-f” -g”-a”-b”-c” -d”‘-e”’) tuned to A=440 Hz or A=432 Hz.
The base is made of solid wood and measures 13.8 x 8.3 x 8.9 inches (35x21x20 cm).
