SCHOOL SCISSORS
Cutting is an important skill and having the right pair of school scissors is important. These are good quality, solid, functional at home or at school scissors. If taken care of properly, they will last a while.
We sell some scissors without a sharp tip for Kindergarteners, some smaller but with a sharp tip for when an elementary child is ready and a larger sharp tip for upper elementary and above.
We offer mostly stainless steel scissors, but still offer a molded plastic handle variety for the youngest children who may need the extra structure to help them hold the scissors correctly, including some comfort soft grip scissor handles for those needing extra cushion.
Holding the scissors correctly is key to developing good cutting skills and children should use what feels most natural and comfortable to them.
